Bruna Tavares

Hello! My name is Bruna, and I’m originally from Brazil but I have lived in the United States for over 20 years. I speak English, Portuguese, and some Spanish. I previously lived in Madrid while completing my MBA in 2025, and I’m excited to return to Madrid for a longer stay. I'm hoping to get to know more of the locals and their culture/traditions.

I’m a 34-year-old professional, respectful, independent, and easygoing. I love traveling, hiking, reading, exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and staying active. I have traveled extensively and I really enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning from their experiences.

I’m looking for a comfortable, welcoming home and a genuine cultural exchange. I would love to live with a Spanish family or host who enjoys sharing everyday life—having meals together, chatting, exchanging stories, and helping me continue improving my Spanish. I’m also very respectful of privacy and personal space and I understand the importance of being a considerate guest in someone’s home.

I’m clean, responsible, organized, and quiet when I need to be. I’m happy to participate in household routines and help keep shared spaces clean.

Ideally, I’m looking for a long-term homestay in Madrid (for a minimum of 1 year); preferably with a host who genuinely enjoys cultural exchange and would like to have an adult guest as part of the household. I’m flexible about the type of household and would be happy with a family, couple, or individual female host.

I’m hoping to find more than simply a room - I’d love to find a place where we can share Spanish culture, conversation, food, and everyday life while respecting each other’s routines and boundaries.
